Become an Intern or Volunteer!

Are you interested in disrupting the school to prison pipeline? Come volunteer with us! OurRJ is excited to offer innovative intern and volunteer opportunities to those that share our passion for restorative justice.

We offer internships and volunteer opportunities in the following areas: Case Management, Circle Training, Data and Evaluation, Legal Research, Development, Capacity Building and Outreach, Program Development and Implementation, Restorative Justice Legislative work, Administrative and Website Design, Public Relations Projects, Social Media Projects, Start-Up Experience and Marketing.

Internships and volunteer work can be tailored to accommodate your schedule. In addition to working directly with OurRJ, there are also opportunities to work on projects with our partner organizations, including Northeastern University School of Law, The Center for Restorative Justice at Suffolk University, and the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps.

Applicants should have a strong interest in restorative justice and the work currently underway in the Middlesex County, Boston and New England area. Ability to work independently, creatively, and collaboratively is required. Experience in web design, databases, and internet research is a plus. Interest and experience in working with youth and young adults is also a plus. The positions are unpaid, but academic credit may be available through the intern’s home institution for college and graduate level programs. As a volunteer, you can work on one specific project or devote a few hours a week or month to work on a variety of projects.
